mindfulness for coaches

The Mindfulness for Coaches Course is aimed at business coaches, consultants, trainers and other professionals who train clients to function effectively in high performance environments.

 

On this course particular attention is paid to the quality of present moment attention. You will learn to be with your clients and yourself in new and creative ways, discovering new ways of listening for and attending to the quieter intuitions of your heart and the vital sensory cues of your body. You will explore new ways of knowing and new ways of being - following your own moment to moment experience.

 

There is evidence that where psychotherapists undertake mindfulness training they have better patient outcomes. We would expect a similar effect with mindfulness-trained coaches and certainly that is what our alumni some of whom are amongst the most experienced coaches in the UK tell us.

 

Each course runs over four half-days at approximately fortnightly intervals.

 

Participants on the Mindfulness for Coaches course are asked to commit to between 20 and 30 minutes of home practice a day for each of the 8 weeks that the course runs. The fee of 1,000 excl. VAT per participant includes tuition and the cost of all materials, including a course workbook and audio CDs to support home-practice.

 

This course typically will consist of a four to six experienced coaches working together as a group. It runs in Central London.
